Three students from Anglophone School Districts East, West and North will advance to the Canada-Wide Science Fair, following the River Valley Science Fair held at UNB Fredericton on Friday.

The Grand Prize winning projects are:

Neutralize Your Thinking: Hannah Young, Superior Middle School – Hannah looked into the use of natural remedies and chemical antacids in relieving heartburn.

Le Résous-Triangle: Daren Liang, Ishwar Desai, Fredericton High School – Daren and Iswar created a website that can solve a triangle’s three angles and/or its three sides using Javascript. You can see their bilingual website at triangle.altervista.org

All three students will be part of Team New Brunswick at the Canada-Wide Science Fair, taking place May 11-16 at UNB in Fredericton, where five hundred finalists from across the country will compete for close to $1-million in awards, scholarships and prizes.
