Little Explorers Returns to Science East!

Blog post - Little Explorers fall 15

Science East’s popular Little Explorers program is back for another fun year of play, learning and discovery! Every Wednesday morning, Science East will open exclusively for children 5 and under and their parents/ guardians. Best of all, it’s FREE!

“It’s a great opportunity for the little ones to explore the centre at their own pace,” says Director of Education, Karen Matheson. “This program is a chance for them to meet children their own age, to get excited about learning, and meet some of those important developmental milestones.”

Each Little Explorers session features a special hands-on activity from 9:30 am to 10:15 am, followed by a chance for children and parents to explore the science centre until 11:30 am.

“You can choose to drop in for a bit or stay for the whole session,” says Matheson. “The activities are always creative and fun, and parents find so much in the centre to keep little minds and hands busy. We encourage children to play and touch everything.”
