Science East closed to the public until further notice: Orange Level

As of January 6th, New Brunswick will be under the Orange Level of the COVID-19 precautionary measures as per the Government of New Brunswick’s revised COVID-19 recovery plan. In support of these measures, Science East Science Centre will be closed to the public until further notice. Any updates or changes to this closure will be posted on Facebook and on our website https://scienceeast.nb.ca


Little Explorers is a FREE program of ages 8 and under accompanied by their parents/guardians/grandparents.

The early learner program runs every Wednesday from September 23, 2020 to the end of May, 2021 . Drop in time to explore the Science Centre’s exhibits between 9:30 – 11:30 pm.  

General Format:

  • Hands-on activity/experiment on the main floor
  • STEM Library & Imaginary play space in basement classroom open to Little Explorers only
Science East Science Centre’s Safety Measures:
Community face masks are required for all ages 2 and over.
Reduced visitor capacity, active screening, and social distancing measures as are in place to keep each other safe.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of bad weather, Little Explorers follows school cancellation policies. If school is cancelled, so is Little Explorers.

Science East will notify the public on this website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram of any future closures.
